Description of Individual Collecting Programs

ReCAP Partners have agreed to purchase imprint books published

in specific language and subject materials to better manage duplication. These areas of institutional commitment reflect joint examination of our approval plans and agreement that current levels of collecting meet consortial needs. Partners commit to maintain current levels of funding and to share those materials through ReCAP’s Discovery to Delivery Program with the appropriate retention commitment. These collecting agreements do not preclude members from purchasing duplicate materials nor does it preclude purchases in additional areas not covered, particularly for onsite campus collections. Members will review these commitments on an annual basis to ensure that the investment levels continue to meet mutual needs.
